About the event
Criminal Justice Talks is the initiative taken by the Centre for Research in Criminal Justice and are aimed to encourage the discussion between research, policy, and practice, and further, to contribute to wider public debates. This initiative is to explore various perspectives in Criminal Law. The lectures are graced by dignitaries, academicians, who have expertise in the given field. Lectures are scheduled every month and are live-streamed on YouTube.
We are coming with the seventh Session of Criminal Justice Talks on 25th November 2020 (04:00 pm to 05:30 pm). The session will be in the form of a panel discussion where the experts and eminent academicians will grace the occasion with their presence and views on the theme of 'Gender Equality in Criminal Laws'. This Panel Discussion is organized in association with Team Samaanta of LM Thapar School of Management. Team Samaanta deals with various kinds of inequalities prevalent in our society and aims towards establishing a society that is equal for all to live in.
We are happy to inform you that Prof. (Dr.) Sarfaraz Ahmed Khan will be the Chief Guest for this webinar.
