About the event
Environmental protection is one of the basic and the most important prerequisite for the overall development of any country. Its protection from becoming a prey to degradation is purely our moral obligation. Of late, the evolving environmental jurisprudence has paved the way for a new area of crimes, namely environmental crimes. And hence, spreading awareness about environmental crimes and their trends has become essential.
With this objective in view, Justice M.L. Pendse Chair in Environmental Laws and Centre for Research in Criminal Justice , in association with the Centre for Environmental Studies of Mar Gregorios College of Law, is organising a Virtual National Conference of Environmental Law Faculties and a National Seminar on Environmental Crimes on 21 & 22 December 2021.
CRCJ is offering an opportunity for paper presentation in the seminar. It is also inviting the contribution of papers in the upcoming Journal of Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai.
